Day 1: July 30th

A long Day 1 of travel is complete. 106 Seacoast United Soccer players from Maine, NH and MA gathered at Logan Airport and traveled overnight to the UK. I can't promise that anyone actually slept, but we hit the ground running upon arrival in the morning.
Buses took half the group to Ardingly College

while the other half set off for Lancing College.

Straight to lunch upon arrival introduced everyone to a local cuisine: pork pie.
After lunch we settled into our rooms and explored our surroundings. Some napped while others took advantage of the Players Lounge.

After dinner, we all headed out for some team building exercises.

It is such an amazing background to get the cobwebs out of our legs. Blue skies and beautiful buildings create an amazing and unique soccer backdrop.

Everyone is back in the dorms for some much needed sleep in preparation for a long day of soccer tomorrow. The players will meet the Brighton & Hove Albion coaching staff who will take the Players for two coaching sessions tomorrow.
